A unique blend of traditional and modern architecture, the museum includes one ground floor and five upper floors that are home to 18 exhibition rooms.You may see delicately carved wooden pictures with different captions to illustrate different types of traditional medicine. This was a place where over 50 skillful engravers has worked hard to complete these carved pictures for nearly 3 years.
The architecture of this museum shows the typical features of traditional architecture in different regions and people of Vietnam. It reflects many features of the Northern house in the basin of Red River (see the temple door frame), of Hue style (see the balcony) and some of Cham ethnic minority group styles. In his Cham tower, there are some exhibited Linga -standing for the Southern power and workship the vital force of the Cham religion. In tower, there is a picture of massaging to keep fit displayed on a stonily embossment taken from Cham Museum in Da Nang city.
Equipped with modern audio-visual technology, the museum regularly screens "A Century of Health Care Experiences", a documentary film about the history of Vietnam's traditional medicine.
