Painting of 100 prominent doctors.
This is a wooden carving picture named “ Viet Nam ’s Medical Physician Record”- engraved on a great and old tree with the names of 100 Vietnamese physicians who have made considerable contribution to the development of Vietnamese traditional medicine from XIIth century to the early twenty century . It should be noted that this is a typically scientific art work of the museum during the whole process of research and study. These 100 physicians created their own professional careers and left long lasting valuable works for future generations. This sculptured picture on the great tree was nearly 500 kilograms, and made by many handicraft workers for nearly 2 years.
